How do licensing, corporate settings, and updates work in GetOverX Shield? - thomasb4083 - 12-05-2025

Hello,
I’m evaluating GetOverX Shield for my company. How are licenses managed in the UI, and how do I connect endpoints to a central server? Also, is there a way to check for updates from inside the program?

Hi and thanks for considering GetOverX Shield for corporate use.

In the Configuration section you’ll find everything related to licensing and corporate connectivity:
  • Corporate Settings:
    • You can configure Server, Port, and Token values to connect endpoints to a centralized security panel or management server.
    • This allows central monitoring and policy management across multiple devices.
  • License Section:
    • Shows the customer name, current activation status, and remaining validity of the license.
    • Helpful to keep track of license expiration and activation state on each endpoint.
  • Update Control:
    • Provides an option to check and apply software updates directly from the UI, so you can keep the suite up to date without manual downloads.
For larger deployments, we usually recommend configuring corporate settings first so that all endpoints report to the same central panel.

In the licensing section you can add the 10, 50, 100 license pool
