What are the extra tools (USB Scan, Task Manager, Log Central) used for?
#1
Hi,
I see a section called “Tools” in GetOverX Shield with several options like Remote Access, Log Central, Services, USB Scan and Task Manager. Can someone explain what each of these is for?

Sure, here’s a quick breakdown of the Tools section:
  • Remote Access:
Helps you manage remote connections to protected systems. It’s useful for administrators who need to access endpoints that are running GetOverX Shield.
  • Log Central:
A unified log viewer for all modules. Instead of checking logs in separate places, you can review events from Antivirus, Firewall, HIPS, Sandbox, EDR, etc., in one centralized view.
  • Services:
Lets you manage background services related to GetOverX Shield. You can check if essential components are running and control them when needed.
  • USB Scan:
A quick way to scan removable drives (like USB sticks) to make sure they don’t bring malware into your system.
  • Task Manager:
A visual process control tool. You can see running processes and terminate them directly from within GetOverX Shield if they look suspicious.
These tools complement the main protection modules and give you more operational control over your environment.
